New York · Film, photography & campaigns

I’m a New York–based director and producer working across film, photography, and campaigns.
I think a director’s job is to surround themselves with geniuses and let them shine in their area of genius. I’m a connector and a conduit: bringing people together around a clear idea of what we’re making and why, then making room for their expertise to shape the work.
My background spans performance, dance, theatre, and work in nearly every department. That experience gives me a shared language with department heads, an understanding of their needs, and a sense of how each person’s contribution could unlock a solution.
There is no small role on my set. I want everyone to understand how their contribution affects the whole and have a personal reason to care about what we’re making. People invest differently when a project connects to where they want to grow; I look for ways to make that possible.
With performers, I build the trust for them to take ownership and tell me what they need. They know the scene from the inside; I bring an outside eye and help resolve what’s getting in their way.
I believe specificity makes material accessible. The uniqueness of our experiences and voices gives someone else a way in. In my campaign work, that means letting an author’s humor, an artist’s practice, or a place’s particular history shape what we make and how we invite an audience into it.
Selected agency projects were made through Target Marketing Digital, with roles and collaborators credited on each project.
I’m a New York-based actor working in film, television, and theatre, with a background in dance and clowning. Selected work includes Martha Clarke’s God’s Fool at La MaMa and in Umbria, Italy.
