Elena AgostinisJewelry on the Wild Side
Elena Agostinis wears the argument of Jewelry on the Wild Side: art belongs on the body.
Jewelry on the Wild Side invites people to wear art with conviction. I put Elena at the center of the campaign because she lives that invitation. Her clothes, collection, and home gave us a portrait of a highly individual eye.
Horst P. Horst’s photograph of Diana Vreeland in her “Garden in Hell” living room informed our approach to the setting. Pattern, textiles, and jewelry all contributed to the image. I brought in photographer Stephan Alessi and DP Nate Taylor for their fashion and luxury sensibility, and directed Elena through wearing and moving with the collection. Her playfulness was as important as the jewelry.
